Position Summary

This RF Engineer will be responsible for Radio Access Network engineering algorithm development in addition to optimization, capacity and coverage process automation development for Nortel or Lucent or Motorola CDMA and EVDO technologies. The position responsibilities will include participating in all phases of the Engineering rules development lifecycle from initial requirements gathering and design through implementation and support. The position will also work in a collaborative environment that will guide the RF Engineering automation strategy.

Required Experience/Skills:
This position requires stron g technical, organizational and interpersonal skills. The engineer must be an autonomous individual that is motivated, a team player The individual must have technical expertise in wireless telecommunications engineering as well as a solid understanding of Nortel or Motorola or Lucent CDMA and EVDO networks. Experience in other aspects of the wireless telecommunications industry, including site acquisition, network design, and construction is also a plus. Specific area of knowledge and experience as follows:

• 4 years of experience in RF Engineering Capacity Planning.
• Knowledge and experience in C# software development
• Ability to analyze vendor documentation and develop optimization, coverage or capacity RF Engineering algorithms
• Experience in KPI or data validation of RAN elements operational measurements output

Position duties :

• Analysis of RAN vendor documentation and creating Optimization, Capacity and Coverage engineering process rules
• Design, Code and Test RF E ngineering process rules to include engineering algorithms.
• Support RF Engineers in the utilization of RF Engineering tools or application in their daily processes
• RAN data analysis and data source correlation
• Maintain system documentation (both within the code and within technical design documents) to enable ease of analysis for future development
• Participates in the planning, design, development, and implementation of RF Engineering automation solutions to address business opportunities
